Hi
Today i'm going to talk about my favourite artist.
Is very hard select only one artist or piece of art hehe.
I wanna talk about of "Mural relieve", a sculpture made it for Federico Assler on 1982, located in Providencia in the bulding "Forum".
first time I saw them was when I was like 4 or 6 years old. I remember that I acompanied my dad to pay health insurance on the bulding Forum.
When i saw the sculpture i touched it and stayed a long time there.
The sculpture consists of a big wall that has relief. Covers 220 square meters. this relieves are lines made of concrete distributed by big 7 plates.
I dont know what the artist wanted to say, but when i saw i fell the lines are moving, so its seems as if the wall have movement.
When I grew up, I found others sculptures of Federico Assler in Santiago, one in "park of sculptures", other in the GAM, and other in University in the faculty of arts. I like very much all of them but my favourite is "Mural relieve" because I have very good memories.
