Session #9

Hello everybody

The theme to write today in my blog is "a country i'd like to visist in the future".
I'd like to visit China, they have too many different things to Chile, food, language, landscapes, etc.

I would travel to China mainly to learn chinese, because is a milenary language and have distinct letters/simbols to spanish. Also is related to maputhüngun in a few pronunciations, so would be interesting comparing this two languages.

I like too much to talk to people, so it would be a real challenge to do it in chinese hehe, also because chinese people are different on they corporal language to the chileans or latin people, for example they greet with a bow

I would like to travel to china also to learn other technics or ways to do pottery, maybe to study in a workshop. So, I think I would like to stay a semester or a year.

Well, those things could be planned in advance, but if I ever go to China I would like to improvise my plans depending on the things, people or places that I will meet.

that's all!

Session #1

Hi, I'm Ignacia from Santiago of Chile.I was born on April 18th, 1996, so I'm Aries. I like to go outside of Santiago because I have never lived in another region or country, so I'm bored of the same landscapes. I'm studing Arts in University of Chile since 2014, I like ceramics and sculpture. And I'm in English level 3. My family is small, I have only one brother, He is very funny, always He is making us laugh. My mom is funny too, with her I see a lot of movies, the last we saw was one of Woody Allen, but i fell asleep in the middle. Sacha is a dog that lives with us, it's eleven years old, is fat and beatiful. I love Sacha. In my free time I like to go to the mountains because you can see the city of another perspective. Also I like to walk, so if I have time and energy I try to go to University walking, it's only 50 minutes! haha. Thanks for reading my blog! Bye!

Session #4

Hello everybody Today I'm going to talk about one of my favorite albums: Bello Barrio of Mauricio Redolés. This album is from 1987, has 20 songs, that 9 are poems. Redolés is a chilean musician born in 1956.   When I was in 2do medio, I found this album because a teacher taught us a poem called "No importa" of Redolés , I liked it very much, so i wanted in the internet. The poem is in the album "Bello Barrio" with others poems and songs. I like this album because has a lot of identity of chileans. like "ya no tengo" or "chilean bussines" , or "blues de santiago". I have a lot of anecdotes with this album. I remember too, when I met one of my best friends of university, one of our first conversations started because i showed her the song "nutrias en abril", she laughed a lot and we became friends. xD See you next week!

Session #5

Hi Today i'm going to talk about my favourite artist. Is very hard select only one artist or piece of art hehe. I wanna talk about of "Mural relieve", a sculpture made it for Federico Assler on 1982, located in Providencia in the bulding "Forum". first time I saw them was when I was like 4 or 6 years old. I remember that I acompanied my dad to pay health insurance on the bulding Forum. When i saw the sculpture i touched it and stayed a long time there. The sculpture consists of a big wall that has relief. Covers 220 square meters. this relieves are lines made of concrete distributed by big 7 plates. I dont know what the artist wanted to say, but when i saw i fell the lines are moving, so its seems as if the wall have movement. When I grew up, I found others sculptures of Federico Assler in Santiago, one in "park of sculptures", other in the GAM, and other in University in the faculty of arts. I like very much all of them but my favourite is "Mura...
